Good day, NBA reporting from east side of Socorro Island, Cabo Pearce, anchored with 3 shots of chain, 110 ft depth, we arrived at the island last night around 2200 and spent a nice and calm night anchored.
When we got here there were already 2 boats in the dive site, they are diving with us “Valentina and Solmar V”, we are making 3 dives today we have one left and then the navy check.
We decided not going to Roca Partida today due to the strong winds coming from NW. Today the wind is very strong and its really hard so pick divers from the water and taking them to the dive side, 20-25 kts of winds here in the southside of the finger, and waves NW 3-5 ft height.
We had great dives, during the first 2 dives the guests enjoyed some dolphins, more than 3 mantas at once and schools of hammerheads and some reef fish close to the lava finger, the current is not too strong, from N to S and the visibility is around 25 mts, water temperature 23°C.
After the dive we are making our navy Inspection and get dinner at anchor before going to Roca Partida. The crew is working hard and the guests are happy.
