Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-04-23

NUS at anchor in Cañon area, San Benedicto Island, depth 54 ft. two shots out, weather conditions are bad-regular wind NW 14-16 kts, air temp. 21 Celsius, sea state W 1 ft. inside the bay, cloudy day.

In our first dive was good in the Boiler but the weather conditions were not good NW wind 16-18 kts and sea state 3-5 ft, conditions into the water good visibility 18-20 mtrs and temp. 23 Celsius, they saw five mantas four chevron one black, dolphins, hammerhead sharks and school of big eyes jacks. Due to bad weather and for safety we returned to El Cañon.

Second dive was good conditions into the water visibility 15-18 mtrs. Temp. 23 Celsius, little current east to west, they saw mantas, hammerhead sharks, white tips, silver tips, Galapagos, school of big eyes jacks and many reef fish our guests are happy.

Yesterday we did a third dive the Aquarium and our were happy guests they liked the good visibility that there was and being able to see the reef fish yesterday.

We passed naval inspection without news as well. Today after dinner at night we will start return to Cabo.
