Good day everyone, NBA reporting from west side of San Benedicto “El Boiler”, we arrived at the island at 0600 hrs and start the first 2 dives of the day in Cañon. The weather today is completely cloudy 8/8, winds are coming from NW 10-12 kts and a long period swell of 3-5 ft.
During the first dive it was very good, lots of sharks, Galapagos, Silkies, white tips, silver tips, hammerheads, and a lot of Mantas, but in the second dive the visibility got worse, less than 5 meters so the groups had to cancel the dive, we tried to look for the conditions at Lava flow but it was pretty much the same, so we moved to Boiler and lets see how it goes.
We are planning to finish the trip here; the boat works pretty good at anchor with 3 shots in the water over 120 ft depth. There are no boats here with us.
After the diving we will have our cheese and wine night and dinner with the guests before starting our navigation back to CSL.
