Good day! NBA at anchor with 3 shots in the water, 100ft depth at the east side of Socorro Island โCabo Pearceโ with a nice and calm weather inside the bay, 10kts N winds, 1-2 ft swell, partly cloudy sky 3/8, air and water temperature 22ยฐC.
We arrived at the island last night around 2230 hrs, and started our dive operation today at 0800 hrs, NEX is sharing the dive site with us. We have done 2 dives and we have 2 left.
During the first 2 dives the guests could see some hammerheads surrounding the lava finger, and a couple of dolphins have been passing by but there are not in the mood to play.
Anyway, the guests are happy with their quick presence, silver and white tips are around too, and a couple of playful mantas, vis is around 15 mts but its seems to get better during the day, we have a light current coming from N to S but nothing to be worried about.
