Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-05-09

NUS at anchor in El Boiler area, San Benedicto Island, depth 105 ft. three shots out, weather conditions are good wind NW 6-8 kts, air temp. 22 Celsius, sea state NW 1-2 ft. a little swell from SW, cloudy day But sometimes the sun comes out through the clouds.

In our first dive was good conditions into the water good visibility 24-26 mtrs and temp. 22 Celsius, they saw mantas, some hammerhead a little far away. A lot of reef fish dive was good, some tunas yellow fin, some wahoos.

Second dive conditions into the water visibility 28-30 mtrs. Temp. 22 Celsius, they saw seven mantas three chevron and four black, Galapagos, some hammerhead sharks, and many reef fish our guests are happy.

During the second dive our guests were amazed by the mantas.
