Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-05-13

NUS at anchor  in El Boiler area, San Benedicto Island, depth 122 ft. three shots out, weather conditions are good wind   WNW  4-6 kts, air temp. 21 Celsius, sea state WNW 1 ft. a little swell from SW, cloudy day.

In our first dive (check dive) was in El Fondeadero with good conditions into the water good visibility 15-18 mtrs and temp. 22 Celsius. They saw one manta, some dolphins, two slikies, a lot of lobsters.

Second dive was good in EL Boiler, conditions into the water visibility 20-22 mtrs. Temp. 22 Celsius, They saw five mantas, three chevron and two black, silver tips, white tips, and many reef fish.

Our guests are very happy, we have a group of Chinese that only the leader speaks English and we have a little bit of a problem with communication and we have a lot of attention during the dives. We also have a group of Mexicans with little experience and we also need to pay a lot of attention to them.

We are planning 2 more dives in the afternoon and then proceed to Roca Partida after dinner.
