Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-05-22

NBA at anchor in El Boiler area, San Benedicto Island, depth 100 ft. 3 shots in the water, sharing dive site with 1 more boat, weather conditions are good, sunny day and clear sky, temp 21°C, wind NNW 6-8 kts, sea state NW 2-4 ft. with long swell.

We start our day with the checkout dive in El Fondeadero, guests have no trouble, slight current from West to East, good vis +25 mts. and could see big number of fishes, Galapagos and tiger sharks, dolphins at surface and mantas on their safety stop, water temp. 21°C water.

In the second dive of the day, once at El Boiler, vis changes considerably about 13 mts. But the interaction with marine life was a blast for the guests, there were about 5 different mantas during the dive and in addition could see a big school of jacks, Galapagos and hammerhead sharks, a big turtle at surface swimming on top of El Boiler.

Guests seem happy and enjoying their experience on board.

The plan for this afternoon is doing 2 more dives at El Boiler, take the guests on a panga ride and tonight offer taco night. After that start our crossing to Roca Partida.
