NEX at anchor at The Canyon, San Benedicto Island on 65 ft of water, 2 shots out, Wx: NW light winds, NW seas 2 ft. Clear sky, Air temp 23C. Water temp 23C.
We arrived yesterday afternoon to the Canyon after the last dive at the Boiler. Yesterday was a great day, we had good dives there but the ones in the morning were the best.
Today at the Canyon we have done two dives so far.
First dive was great lot of sharks, Galapagos, silvertips, silkies, whitetips, a school of 15-20 hammerheads and 3 Mantas. At the beginning visibility at surface wasn’t that good, but below 20 mts was really good 25 mts. No current.
Second dive was more of the same, Mantas and sharks, same school of hammerheads and lot of sharks. On second dive, only half of the divers were to dive as the other half wanted to stay onboard and relax.
It has been a nice day today with sunny skies and light cool breeze and calm waters. Planning to do 2 more dives here and the depart tonight back to Cabo San Lucas.
