We arrived last night to Fondeadero, San Benedicto Island, NBA, Solmar V, and yacht Game changer were here. It was windy last night and this morning feeling the wind from the west 20 kts. Now wind has calmed a little. We have done 2 dives so far.
First dive in Fondeadero was ok, not much to see as the visibility was very poor, 5-8 mts in shallow, 10-12 mts below the 25 mts depth. Water temp 21C and no current. Some sharks, lobsters, one octopus was the menu. Divers did well for check dive.
Second dive we dove the lava flow, it was a better dive, water still was murky, viz like 15 mts, but they were able to see the school of baby hammerheads, which everyone loved, there was a couple of mantas too, and some Galapagos and silkies. No current and water temp still 21C.
Planning to dive the Canyon this afternoon as Solmar V has departed to sea of Cortez and we will take their place. We will sleep here tonight and dive tomorrow morning here at the Canyon and check the weather for tomorrow if we will be to dive the Boiler.
Guests are doing well, enjoying the day.
