This morning, we dove the Canyon, first dive was good, some hammerheads, Galapagos, silkies and silvertips. No mantas. Viz was good 20 mts and there was a moderate current from NE to SW. Divers like it much better than yesterday afternoon dives as yesterday the viz was not so good.
On second dive viz dropped a little bit over the Canyon but off the Canyon viz was better. Much better dive, a school of 30ish hammerheads and a Tigershark, most of divers were able to see them, but there were a few that didn’t.
They came back happy to the boat. There were no mantas in this dive. same current from NE to SW and water temp 21C. We will go and try the Boiler for this afternoon to check the action over there.
We still looking an eye to the storm, which it has become a storm already, GFS model is predicted to pass east of Socorro and the ECMWF is predicting to pass closer to Socorro with over 30 kts gusts. We keeping an eye to decide this afternoon.
Guests are doing great.
