Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-06-05

NBA at anchor in El Cañon, San Benedicto Island, 2 shots in the water, partially cloudy day, air temp 22° C, wind NW 10-12 kts, seas WNW 1-2 ft.

This morning was cloudy and cold, diving was good, they have seen a lot of sharks in the dive site, silver tips, Galapagos, hammerhead sharks and one of the groups had the company of one manta the entire dive, one of the guest with tears on her eyes for the great dive she experienced.

Water temp was 19°C people got cold, vis was good 15 mts once they crossed a thermocline 21°C in surface and at bottom 19°C.

During second dive, only half of the group, 13 guests, went to dive due to cold temperature in the first dive, but the guest who dove had a nice time with many sharks all around the dive site, and mantas close to them, current a little bit strong but manageable the sun has appear and water temp was about 20°C, vis 10-12 mts.

Planning do 2 more dives, checking conditions of vis in lava flow to maybe offer another option to the guests.

Yesterday guests during evening dove Roca Partida 2 more dives, conditions were similar, plenty of life and guests had memorable dives.
