Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-06-18

Roca Partida, beautiful day, clear skies, air temperature is 77F, water today is 74F, mild current running to the west, visibility is amazing in the east side averaging 100F, in the west side comes down to 60ft, 6kts of wind NW, long 6Ft NW swell.

Roca Partida delivering some good dives, the north and south corners with the most action as the sharks come to get cleaned on those two places, the rock is full of life, loads of different schools of jacks, the cotton mouth and the horse eyed jacks coming and going like patrolling the area.

From the boat because visibility is so good I can see loads of wahoos going back and forth.

Guests loving it but none of that matters to the divers because they got a very beautiful surprise a 21Ft WHALE SHARK. That big fish makes everyone happy and this time is no different, in first dive they had it for the entire dive, in the second dive it came on their last few minutes of the dive.

We (the skiffs drivers) had it on the surface for over half hour. Is an amazing day.

Yesterday on the last dive some of the guests couldn’t agree on how many tiger sharks they saw, some said 6 others said 2. Some had two tigers at the same time with their video cameras.
