Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-06-30

Anchor in the cove in front of the BOILER. Inside this cove conditions are very good light wind NW and almost flat seas, boat sits stable, we anchored outside but the elements wont agree on anything and current, wind and waves are coming from different directions so the dive platform was difficult for the guests, so we moved.

Inside here is a bit far but a lot safer. Air temperature is 76F, ocean today is 74F, visibility is 70Ft, current running to the east, mild current it is.

First dive was conducted at the LEATHER BASS ALLEY then we moved here and both dives have been good, Boiler a lot better as there are lots of mantas here, some say they saw two tiger sharks, a handful of hammerhead sharks, tons of white tips sharks. The safety stop was entertained as few whaoos zipped by, and also they had a tiger shark looping around once it was a bit curious then it vanished in the blue water. Clear amazing skies, is a beautiful day to be out at sea.
