Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-07-03

Cabo Pearce. anchor in 90Ft of water with 2.5 shots of chain paid out, this morning wind was doing 16kts coming from the SW so Cabo Pearce wasn’t protecting us much however with time is been changing back and forth so moving is not an option.

It was cloudy first thing in the morning then it cleared up and now is back at being cloudy (sight) however as a whole weather is improving for the better, hard to say we had a storm nearby yesterday.

The dives have been good, they say mantas are around getting clean, some Galapagos, silver tips, turtles, lately we have been seeing lots of turtles, I saw them on the surface mating, there were three, one on top of the next one, later they split up but just as they went different ways the female was taken again by a different male….. in second dive the dolphins showed up but only for a brief time.

Visibility average 40Ft, the surge is immense so visibility is good in the north side but low in the south side. Water temperature is 74F, air is 76F, big 4Ft SW swell.
