NUS Searching for Mobulas and orcas Weather 8-10 kts SE winds and 2-3 ft seas, sunny day, great visibility 8NM. Air temp 34 C.

This morning, we arrived to Las Animas, we did 2 dives and snorkeling there with sea lions. Guests were very happy.

During first dive, a big pod of common dolphins stated to come closer to Las Animas from the west. When divers came out of the water, we had the chance to take them and snorkeling with the dolphins as they were close.

Second dive same thing, dolphins stayed around and our guests could have good action for 30 mins with them. One of the guides and one guest were able to see a couple of hammerheads. Sea lions were very playful. It was a good morning.

Right now we are heading south searching for orcas and mobulas, we will get close to Espiritu Santo to search for mobulas and take guests in the rhib.

Yesterday afternoon we couldn’t find the sperm whale and Ziphius and we went back to la Venta searching for it. We took our guests to the beach with some snacks and drinks so they can watch the sunset in the beach.
