Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-07-28

NUS at anchor at Faro de los Viejos Cerralvo island, on 80 ft of water. Wind SSE 16-20 kts, 1-2 ft Seas. Air Temp. 34 C, Clear sky. sunny day. Just dropped anchor at a beach in Cerralvo Faro de los Viejos, after a search for orcas and mobulas from Punta Coyote.

It is really windy today, was kind of hard to find for something because of the whitecaps. Guests boarded the pangas this morning and went out for search, they found a small pod of dolphins but they were running away.

Decided to take guests to a beach and snorkel so they can refresh themselves from the heat. After that they came back to the boat for lunch. No reports of orcas or anything today.

This afternoon we will keep looking for something around, and then take them to a beach with drinks and snacks so they can enjoy the sunset.

Yesterday at turn day guests arrived at 1830 hrs, welcome briefing and safety briefing was carried out and after that life jacket drill. They had a delicious dinner after the drill.
