This morning we arrived to las Animas. This morning when we arrived here wind was clam then it started to pick up. It was cloudy in the morning but now clouds gone away and it is sunny.

We have done 2 dives so far. We did check dive in sea lion cove, shallow and nice, crystal water today, the view was great even from the skiff. Warm temp 28C. Check dive went good, only a couple of divers needed some extra weight, Sea lions all over the place, a lot of reef fishes and good conditions.

Second dive at Moro Norte, it was a good dive, one of the groups could saw the school of hammerheads, like 30ish, it was great as visibility was good. There is thermocline at 24 mts and viz drops a bit. There were also some sea lions, sea turtle, octopus, and lot of fishes. Nice dives.

2 more dives to go for today. We will have taco night tonight and then we will depart going up north.

Yesterday in la Ventana we started to search up north in Cerralvo channel when we spotted a blow from a whale, we started to get ready to board the pangas and took guests out to look for the whale. Unfortunately, we never could chase the whale as it was running away from us every time we got close, we even couldn’t see what type of whale was.

After that we continued searching, found a small pod of dolphins. Everything went good. We dropped anchor at Punta coyote and stayed there for dinner.
