Anchored in 100Ft of water in Wafer Bay Costa Rica Isla del Coco. It was a beautiful day today, sorry for the late report but I had my hand busy.
The morning dive we made Dos Amigos these two Rocks are on the west side of the island and the boat rides are long, both dives were really good today visibility was a 60Ft.
We are having a cold upwelling on our dive I am thinking is the full moon effects, is making visibility funny but we still get loads of action, many hammerheads coming up close, getting clean by the barberfish, Galapagos were coming in big packs.
I had Manu the mate diving with me and from above I saw him next to a Galapagos shark that was bigger than him including his long fins, in the same cleaning station for the hammers.
The trevally jacks were also getting clean, funny cause when they are not getting cleaned by the barberfish they hunt them down for a meal.
The arch in Dos Amigos Grande was full of fish, is a nice feeling to swim into the school and having them open up a hole for you to make thru, the arch had snappers, grunts, goat fish by the hundreds, the barberfish are upside down in the ceiling of the arch, we got to see a huge school of bonitos, a huge yellowfin tuna and a lot more.
Today we did not have current just surge, water temperature is 82F but if you make it in the upwelling water is 75F, air temperature is 84F, clear skies, light wind beautiful day to be out here. Guests and crew doing great.
