Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-08-20

NUS at anchor in San Pedro Martir, on 180 ft. 3 shots out, wind N 3-4 kts, air temp. 35 C, sea state 1 ft, Sunny day.

Yesterday was a resounding success, with whale sharks appearing in the morning and afternoon. They were able to swim with them many times, and it was incredible.

Then there was cheese and wine on the beach with a spectacular sunset. Not everyone went, but most did enjoy an afternoon on the beach.

This morning we did two dives. The visibility is incredible, and the sea lions were very curious. They found some seahorses that stole the show. Two turtles were in the area feeding, and we were able to take some great photos.

The area was full of reef fish. The children have been kayaking several times, but we also have a guest, Cristina, who is very active and always goes kayaking after diving to take pictures of the views.

The day is extremely hot, there is not much wind, and it slows down the operation a bit because people are running a little late.

In the afternoon, we plan to do another dive. Crew and Guest doing well.
