Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-10-05

NBA at anchor at Las Animas on 160 ft of water 3 shots out of starboard side anchor. Partial cloudy sky 5/8. NNW wind 6-8 kts and 1-2 ft ft seas, no white caps. Air temp 32C, Water temp 30C. There are no boats around.

We arrived this morning to Las Animas, After a nice ride from La Paz.

This morning we did the dive safety briefing and then started to set up guest´s diving gear. Check dive is done, there was no issue with any diver, they had a nice and relax dive. We dove at sea lion cove la Lobera where is shallow, many playful sea lions for everybody, plus reef fishes, one octopus, some eels. Water viz is great 25+ mts and no current.

We will do 2 more dives here and then we will pick up everything and make our way north to San Idelfonso. It looks like this is a nice group of guests, talked to the group leader last night to adjust the schedule for the activities they have to do, all good with the group leader.

They all look happy and excited for the trip.
