Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-10-07

NBA at anchor at El corralito San Pedro Martir on 80 ft of water 2 shots out. Overcast sky 5/8. Air temp. 33C. NW wind 6-8 kts and 1-2 ft ft seas, Water temp 30C. There are no boats around.

We arrived this morning to San Pedro Martir, the ride to San Pedro was nice but we had some current against most of the leg. We dropped anchor at the south on Los Moros and we dove Moro 1 in the morning.

We did 2 dives there as first dive was great, All divers saw a big school of hammerheads, like 30ish. The Dive was great also the was a lot of black coral, sea lions, school of fishes, eels, everyone enjoyed it. There was a descent current though, but everyone managed to enjoy the dive. Viz was ok 15 mts.

Then between dive 1 and 2 there was a medium size pod of dolphins, like 50 of them, that were passing by, and we took some guests to snorkel with them. That was great.

On second dive at El Moro 1, there was a strong current from W to E, one of the groups got caught in the current and they had  to cancel the dive after 20 min of dive, luckily dolphins were still around and when that group came up, we took them to snorkel with dolphins, they were happy. Viz was better due to the current 20+ mts. Some divers could saw again hammerheads, sea lions and the black coral forest.

After that, we moved the NBA to El Corralito, and we are currently diving here. After this we will take guests hiking and then we will have a night dive. Tonight after dinner we will depart for Bahia de Los Angeles.
