Yesterday afternoon after we dropped anchor in San Fracis Quito Bay, all guests had 4-5 hours of lecture.

At evening we did a night dive there, it was good, bioluminescent during the dive was a plus, they could found some nudibranchs, blennies, eels and some reef fishes. All the divers enjoyed, just a couple of guests skipped the dive.

As soon as we had everything on board, we departed to Las Animas. Arrived here last night at 22:30 hrs, it was a bit windy but we hold good.

This morning the wind dropped down and now is almost flat. There is one fishing panga around. We have done 2 dives this morning, really good dives, we have seen hammerheads in both dives, many playful sea lions, great topography an many reef fishes, like sergeant fish, puffer fish, trigger fish, jacks, a couple of sea turtles, eels some guests saw one octopus.

In first dive viz was really good, 30 mts, water temp 28C, and no current. Second dive viz dropped up to 20 mts, there is a light current from North and same water temp. All the guests are happy.

Tonight we will do a night dive here in the sea lion cove where is shallow. Planning to stay overnight at Las Animas as everyone like it, 2 morning dives tomorrow and then move in the afternoon to San Francisquito Island to take guests to the beach and have cheese and wine there to watch the sunset.

We will carry weekly drills this afternoon when guests will be in their lecture.
