Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-10-23

NUS at Anchor in SW of San Pedro Martir, on 100 ft depth 3 shots out. Wind NW 6-8 kts, Sea 2 ft. Air temp 26C. Sunny day.

Yesterday afternoon, the guests weren’t as lucky; they couldn’t find any whale sharks. However, they were happy to have seen them early. Later, at the cheese and wine bar on the beach, everyone relaxed; I could see they had fun.

Today, we did two dives where they found hammerhead sharks. The thermocline makes visibility difficult, but they were able to see them. There was also a giant turtle feeding near the Moro.

We plan to do an afternoon dive and another night dive.
