Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-11-05

NEX at anchor in San Benedicto, at 51 ft, 2.5 shots out, Sunny day, Air temperature 28 C, Wind NW 9 kts and sea state 2 ft.

Yesterday, most people had already arranged everything for today. Everyone attended the Marine Life presentation; the guests were clearly eager to get in the water.

We arrived at midnight, reached the anchorage, and found the Southern Sport already anchored. We did the dive check and then a dive in the Canyon.

Incredible, that’s the word to describe today’s dives. The guests were able to see Galapagos tortoises, whitetip reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, and even manta rays on the same dive. The marine life in the Canyon is spectacular.

We have two more dives planned for today in the Canyon. We’ll also give Aldo Zabala some time before cocktail hour to give his presentations.

Crew and guests doing well.
