Yesterday, the sailing was calm, the guests participated in the presentations, we arrived at midnight and anchored. Today we started the dive check early to give them time to prepare.
The dive check was accompanied by 2 chevron mantas, 1 black manta, a couple of big stingrays, 2-3 Galapagos sharks, and 2 hammerheads. It was wonderful for a dive check.
During the dive check, one of the guests had a panic attack and didn’t want to do it. After finishing the dive check, I talked to her and encouraged her to go diving.
DG Mariana took her, and to everyone’s surprise, they saw absolutely everything in 15 minutes of diving. And when I say everything, I mean everything, even a whale shark in San Benedicto. But that wasn’t all. On the first dive in the canyon, DG Imanol’s group also saw a young tiger shark.
So yes, the guests are very happy. Right now, we have two more dives planned. I hope the wind drop tonight so we can have Taco Night on the Sundeck.
