Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-11-15

Anchored in OLD MAN OF THE SEAS, anchor resting in 80ft of water clear skies, wind doing 10kts NW, choppy seas, 1 FT chops, we had light current in the morning dives, water temperature is 84F, visibility is 60 Ft despite the big 6Ft SW swell, that was a good change from first day to today in Punta Tosca, where we did the two morning dives. Now guests are in the water on their third dive today.

The morning dives had some good action, some of the guests saw their very first manta, dolphins showed up, they were just cruising but they had a very good look at them, one of the groups saw hammerhead sharks, some were happy about a turtle they saw, almost no current in the morning dives, water temperature is 82F.

After this dive we are heading to the navy base to do the routine inspection.
In second dive I was picking up the guests and this manta came up and stared circling the skiff and she wouldn’t leave, that was a nice touch, guests were cheering.

Guests and crew doing great.
