Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2025-11-21

NEX at anchor in Boiler, San Benedicto, at 106 ft, 3.5 shots out, Cloudy and Windy day, Air temp 24 C, Wind NW 11-17 kts and sea state 4-6 ft. Water temp. 27 C, Visibility 8-10 mts.

Yesterday, the sailing was a little bit tough, the guests participated in the presentations, we arrived at midnight and anchored in Fondeadero. Today we started the dive check early to give them time to prepare.

Right now, we are at The Boiler, the swell is a bit strong but we have it under control. The weather forecast does not show any improvement for the next few days, so I will cancel the dive at Roca Partida. Today, after we finish diving, we will go to Canyon.

The first dive at The Boiler was very nice. A school of about 8-10 dolphins came to play with the divers. There were also at least 3-4 chevron mantas and 3 black mantas, dancing around the whole time.

We have two more dives planned for the afternoon and then we will move on to Canyon. Today is Street Taco Night.

Crew and Guests are doing well.
