NEX at anchor in Cabo Pearce, Socorro, at 96 ft, 3 shots out, Partly Cloudy and Windy day, Air temp 28 C, Wind NE 11-14 kts and sea state 2-3 ft. Water temp. 27 C, Visibility 5 mts.
Yesterday at Lava Flow, the dives were action-packed. Galapagos, whitetip, and silvertip sharks were among the sightings. Visibility didn’t improve much, but the guests were able to see some sea life. After dinner, we moved to Cabo Pearce, anchored, and enjoyed a peaceful night.
Today, we were the first to jump into the water. Visibility isn’t the best; the water is murky. However, we did spot three hammerhead sharks, a stingray, a long moray eel, and some octopuses.
We have two more dives planned for this afternoon and after dinner, we will go to Punta Tosca.
Crew and guests are doing well.
