Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-11-26

ROCA PARTIDA. Anchor resting in 240Ft of water, wind is doing 10kts NW, air temperature is 78F, ocean today is 84, visibility averages 120ft, mild current running to the east, 4Ft NW waves, boat sit stable, dive platform is ok to work on, guests doing okay getting in and out of the skiffs. Skies partially cloudy.

Diving is amazing so they say, probably because of the good and clear visibility, also mantas are around and having great interaction with the divers, some say they were able to see 5 Mantas at the same time.

The north corner also filled with sharks, among them silver tips, white tip reef sharks, silkies, some Galapagos, some of the guests having fun seeing the huge lobster sharing the balconies with the white tip sharks, tunas, wahoo near the surface, cotton mouth and horse eyed jacks in big numbers all sharing ROCA PARTIDA.

Last night two dive boats changed their mind and didn’t make it to Roca, thank goodness cause today we are a total of three boat here right now.

Guests and crew doing well.
