Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2025-12-04

NGL Location Bahia Magdalena – Near Cabo Tosco Position Wind 6-10kt (NW-W) Sea State 0.5 – 1.0 m, SKY Mostly sunny with light costal haze, Visibility 80t, Air Temp 24-26C, Sea Temp 22-24C.

This morning operations began early using fast pangas on our FIND WHALE expedition we recorded multiple sightings of Humpback Whales offering calm and extended surface behavior that allowed excellent photographic for our guests.

Later in the morning we encountered plenty mobulas rays, a medium size – sardine bait ball with intense predation, striped marlin, sea lions, and dolphins were actively hunting, creating a dynamic fast-moving scene with continues action around the pangas.

Significant bird activity included frigates, boobies, and pelicans diving over the bait ball.

Wildlife interactions have been strong and diverse, providing premium viewing moments for our photographers on board.
