Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2025-12-04

Underway to Roca Oneal, we just did two nice dives in Punta Tosca, mantas, one dolphin couple of hammers, lots of white tip reef sharks and a tiger sharks got the guests going.

Visibility in first dive was 50Ft and on second dive a warm current running west brought nice clean water. We are going to do one dive in Roca Oneal then come back for Tosca, spend some time, have dinner and then tonight start our return to Cabo San Lucas.

Wind was 16kts NW in the morning but somewhere around midmorning wind died, air temperature is 82F, today water is78F, long 4Ft NW swell. Cloudy skies with thin cloud letting lots of light get in the water.

Last night we were heading to Roca Partida I been checking on weather and other boats so we could have a nice time in Roca, BUT during the crossing weather was nasty, 24kts winds and 6 or bigger waves.

After three hours of sailing I called it and turn back towards Socorro, the forecast and conditions were not matching, not a good sign, safety comes first so I made that difficult decision to keep everyone safe.

Most guests happy as they were having a hard time staying in bed, apart from that there was rain.

Guests and crew doing well.
