Good day everyone! NBA reporting from the Northwest side of San Benedicto Island, El Boiler, with 3 shots in the water, 120 depths.
We arrived at the dive site last night at 2230 hrs and spent the night at anchor. The weather conditions today are odd, we have strong current from S to N making the stern of the boat point to the Boiler, the 5-10 kts wind is coming from NE and the 3-5 ft swell from the W, but we are quite good here.
The dive started at 0800 hrs and during the first 2 dives of the day the Mantas and dolphins were around the rock interacting with our divers, hammerheads and Galapagos are swimming with the current, some of our divers like the conditions, some of them want no current at all, which is kind of difficult today, but most of them are happy with the dives.
Vis is above the 50 mts and water temperature is 24°C. The crew is doing good with the operation, and guests are happy.
Anyway, after the dives we will make our cheese & Wine and the steak night, and the trivia time, before start the sailing back to CSL.
