NBA at anchor in El Fondeadero, San Benedicto Island, on 50 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather is nice, totally cloudy sky, fresh breeze from NE, Seas are mixed, 2 ft swell from the West and some 2-3 ft from NE. Air temperature 26C, Water temp 27C.
We arrived last night to San Benedicto Island and dropped anchor at El Fondeadero. Valentina and Adventure were here already.
This morning, we have done 2 dives so far.
First one the check dive, jumped from the back of the boat, everyone checked their weights, some divers needed some more weight.
The dive was amazing to be the first one, 3 mantas, a school of 30-40 hammerheads, Galapagos, silkies, school of jacks and a pod of 8-10 dolphins with babies among other fishes. Everyone was super happy even our guides. The water viz was great 20-25 mts and there was a light current from West to East.
Second dive we did it again at El Fondeadero jumping from the back deck. Another amazing dive with the same animal action, one of the groups says that there were 5 different mantas at once. Despite on this dive the current was stronger to the NE, all the divers enjoyed it and they are super happy as it is the first day and they have seen a lot in 2 dives.
We will do 2 more dives, another one at El Fondeadero and the last one at the Canyon as the Valentina will do only 3 dives and they will depart to San Jose. We will depart tonight after dinner to Roca Partida to dive there tomorrow.
Guests happy, crew happy.
