Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-12-11

NBA at anchor in Old Man of The Rocks, Socorro Island, on 55 ft of water 1 shots out. Good Weather, Clear sky 3/8, NE winds 5-8 kts, 1-2 ft N seas. Air temperature 27C, Water temp 25C. 

We just dropped anchor near the Old Man of The Rocks site. and we are taking guests to dive. This is CONANPS exploratory dive site for this trip.

This morning, we arrived to Punta Tosca and did 2 morning dives there. They were good dives,

First dive 2 groups could saw dolphins almost at the end of the dive, they saw also a small school of hammerheads and a couple of mantas, one octopus, many reef fishes and lobsters. There was no current and viz was good 15-20 mts.

Second dive was good as well. No dolphins this time, but a group of divers had 2 mantas with them for the whole dive. Now we are diving Old Man of The Rocks and after here we are going to the navy base for check in.

After that we will go to Cabo Pearce to sleep there and dive tomorrow.
