Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2025-12-11

Gallant Lady sea state calm swell low, long period wind light breeze 4-5 kt visibility 75 f.

Today operation took us place slightly farther from our usual area but perfect conditions and excellent marine life activity, marine life observed with strong activity.

Encountered a large and highly static bait ball which became the highlight of the morning operations. The bait ball remained tightly packed and stable for an extended period, allowing guests to enjoy long, uninterrupted viewing, dolphins were working the edges of the bait ball, making repeated passes and driving the sardines toward the surface.

Bird activity increased as the feeding intensified, creating a dynamic and visually impressive scene also sea lions and a few marlins hunting around.

The guest reported this as one amazing day, thanks to the sustained feeding behaviour and excellent environmental conditions.
