Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-12-17

NBA at anchor in El Canyon, San Benedicto Island, on 55 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather, N winds, 10-12 kts, Seas1-2 ft and W´ly swell. Air temperature 26C, Water temp 26C.

We arrived last night to San Benedicto Island after a nice ride from Cabo. Quino was at anchor here but they moved this morning to the Boiler. We have the Canyon just for us. 2 morning dives so far.

First dive was in El Fondeadero, guests jumped from the back. Dive was good, great viz and no current. They could saw a couple of dolphins, 2 Mantas, and some sharks. everyone had a good dive.

Second dive was at the Canyon, the viz was bad at the surface, around 2-3 mts, but deep at the cleaning station was much better 20 mts. Dive was great, 3 Mantas around, 5-7 hammerheads close at the cleaning station, Galapagos, silvertips and whitetips sharks, Clarion angel fish and many more reef fishes. No current and water temp 26C.

We will do 2 more dives at the Canyon this afternoon and then we will depart to Socorro Punta Tosca and navy base.
