Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2025-12-21

NBA at anchor at the Boiler, San Benedicto Island, on 110 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather, Clear sky with some low clouds, N´ly wind 5-10 kts, 2-4 ft seas. Air temperature 26C, Water temp 26C.

Arrived this morning to The Boiler. There are no other boats here. The day started a bit windy and choppy; it was a cloudy morning so it was kind of dark on first dive.

In first dive was good viz at the beginning of the dive but almost at the end it started to get murky. One of the groups could see a small pod of dolphins that passed by, one manta and many reef fishes, it was quiet on first dive.

Second dive things changed drastically, 5-6 mantas, Hammerheads, Galapagos, silkies, reef whitetips and dolphins again. All the divers were happy. There is a light current from North to South. Viz is not so good, 12-15 mts.

We are going to do 2 more dives here. We will have cheese and wine this afternoon and steak night. Will depart back to Cabo tonight after dinner.

Yesterday at Roca Partida we had great manta action there were 7-8 different mantas, some of them were chasing each other giving a show. Everyone had a great time. Guest Rebeca Musgrave was so happy to could go snorkel and see some mantas near the surface, as well as sea lions.
