NBA at anchor at the Boiler, San Benedicto Island, on 110 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather, Clear sky, NNE wind 10-12 kts, 2-4 ft seas. Air temperature 26C, Water temp 26C.
We arrived last night to San Benedicto and dropped anchor on Fondeadero, we spent the night there and had Christmas eve dinner.
This morning, we did our check dive there. Everyone jumped from the dive platform. Few divers had some issues with their weights and buoyancy but at the end everyone managed to dive.
Dive was good, some diver saw 1-2 mantas, some reef white tip sharks and Galapagos shark, there were some dolphins that passed by, but only a couple of divers saw them. Viz was 12-15 mts, light current to the East and water temp 26C.
Second dive was on the Canyon, but viz was really bad, 5 mts, and no current. There was 2-3 Mantas, a few hammerheads, Galapagos, silvertips and reef whitetips. Divers enjoyed despite the viz.
We moved to the Boiler and we are currently on the third dive. We will do 2 dives here and then we will go to Roca Partida after dinner.
