Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-01-04

NBA at anchor at Cabo Pearce on 100 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather is nice, partly overcast sky, wind is blowing from the North 14-16 kts and seas are 3 ft but, in the bay, it is nice and calm. Air temp 26C, but the wind air temp feels like 22C.  Water temp 26C.

We arrived this morning to Cabo Pearce from Roca Partida, we had some roll in our way here. Yesterday at Roca Partida weather didn’t decrease, So I had to cancel the last dive for safety reasons as it was becoming dangerous for everyone to board the skiffs and offload them. Guests were agreed, some of them also skipped the third dive. Besides of the surface weather, the dives were good specially in the morning with the school of tunas and dolphins.

This morning in Cabo Pearce, we have done 2 dives, first dive was good, there were 3-4 mantas getting cleaned, reef whitetips, some silkies and some diver could saw a couple hammerheads, some could saw like 4 octopus. There was no current and viz was like 12-15 mts.

Second dive was different, there was a strong current from Nort to south, and the viz was same 12-15 mts. Only few divers could see 1 manta, as the others didn’t saw mantas, just some sharks, octopus and reef fishes. One group got good interaction with a small pod of dolphins while they were on the safety stop.

We will do one more dive here and then we will move to navy base for check in.
