Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-01-05

NBA at anchor at the Boiler on 115 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather, overcast sky, NE 10-12 kts winds and 2-5 ft seas. Air temp 25C.  Water temp 26C.

Today at the Boiler, seas are bit choppy but easy compared at Roca Partida. Dives today have been amazing, I have heard best dive ever a few times today, Mantas everyone, some say there are 10 of them, some said 12. Mantas all around. They have also seen, hammerheads, Galapagos, a school of bonitos and a lot of reef fishes.

Water conditions are good, viz is like 15-20 mts, very light current from South to North and water temp 26C. Great day so far. We are going to do 2 dives more here and then will move to the Canyon to dive there tomorrow.

Yesterday at Socorro we went to navy base for check in, Navy personnel came onboard and did the inspection, all good.
