Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-01-06

NBA at anchor at Canyon on 60 ft of water 2 shots out. Weather, clear sky with some white clouds around, sun is strong today, N´ly light winds and calm seas with some 2-3 ft long swell from the West. Air temp 26C.  Water temp 26C.

Yesterday afternoon at the Boiler, we had nice dives, mantas still were hanging around getting close to divers passing by and giving a great time to our divers. After the last dive, moved NBA to the Canyon to have a nice and calm night.

Today we have done 2 dives in the Canyon.

First dive was amazing, a huge school of hammerheads, more than 50. Everyone was like wow, there were also some big Galapagos, silvertips and silkies. Some divers said that they saw a 10 ft tiger shark in the distance. Some divers saw 2 mantas. Water viz was good 20 mts and there was a mild current from East to West.

Second dive was similar, a school of 20ish hammerheads, some singles in the sand, Galapagos, silkies, silvertips, 3 mantas. Great dive. Water temp 26C, viz 18 mts. Current decreased to light and changed to the East. We will do 2 more dives here and we will end the trip with a cheese and wine and steak night.

We will depart tonight back to Cabo.
