Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2026-01-08

NEX at anchor with 2 shots out depth 45 ft. in El Fondeadero, good weather conditions, wind NW 4-6 kts sea state NW 1 ft, air temp. 26 Celsius, cloudy day. 

The first dive was good (check dive), conditions into the water visibility 12-14 mtrs, temp. 26 Celsius, no current, our guests saw one manta, hammerheads, a lot of reef fish, a very orderly and very well check dive, 

The second dive was much better, visibility 14-16 mtrs. Temp. 26 Celsius, our guests saw school of hammerhead, Galapagos, white tips, silver tips, mantas very friendly. 

Today after taco night we’re going to Cape Pearce, we bring a group that is the first time in Revillagigedo and they are very excited.
