Good day everyone! NBA reporting at the southside of San Benedicto Island, at anchor with 1.5 shots in the water over 45 ft depth, with NE 5 kts winds and a 2-4 long swell from the East, partly cloudy sky 4/8, 24°C air temperature, there are 2 boats with us sharing the dive site.
We arrived at the island around 23:30 hrs and spent a nice night at anchor.
Today we started with our check dive at 0800 hrs, during the dive our guests had a good performance, we have some very new divers onboard, so some of them have struggle with their floatability or how to manipulate their equipment, but all went good during the first dive, our divers enjoyed Dolphins, some white tips and silver tips.
On the 2nd dive they could see school of hammerheads, Galapagos, silver and white tips, silkies, and reef fish, and 3 mantas at once on the safety stop. The vis on the dive site is around 25 mts, and there is a light current from E to W.
We will make 2 more dives and then head up to Socorro Island for our dive day tomorrow.
