Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2026-01-12

Cabo Pearce. anchor in 100Ft of water, cloudy day, this morning we even got some drizzle, wind doing 6kts NW, choppy seas, small waves from NW, air and water temperature are 76F, ocean is the same, no current, visibility.

In first dive was 80Ft then it came down to 50Ft for the second dive, dives are nice but pelagic are not there as we want them to be, first dive one manta only, second dive two mantas and a big school of hammerheads sharks and that was it.

Guests keep finding octopus and having a great time with them, one group saw a stingray, one of the guests Tanya has a picture of a moray eel and a shark resting together in a ledge and she is going nuts talking about it.

Guests are happy but expecting better and more from Socorro.

Guests and crew doing well.
