Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2026-01-21

NEX northbound to Cabo San Lucas, making 8.0 kts average speed, excellent weather conditions today, few traffic around.

Hello everyone, yesterday to top off a perfect day, the false killer whales arrived during the second dive, the visibility was incredible, and the day seemed to go on forever.

The guests said there wasn’t a moment to rest because of all the action. It was spectacular; everyone returned with huge smiles.

Later, the cheese and wine reception was wonderful, with some guests relaxing in the jacuzzi until nightfall, enjoying the sunset with wine, while others preferred to be in the lounge, sipping wine and enjoying the cheese board. At dinner, they thanked the chef for his excellent dishes.

We began our navigation to Cabo San Lucas. We’ve already coordinated the guests’ transportation and organized the tasks to be completed with the shore side team. Today, the guests were relaxing on the sundeck, others were packing their bags.

Our estimated time of arrival is 4:00 AM.

Crew and guests doing fine.
