Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2026-01-28

Cabo Pearce. 18.46.619N – 110.54.618W, anchor resting in 100Ft of water, amazing, beautiful day, skies letting lots of sun reach the earth, still some clouds, wind is 10kts NE, flat seas all around, air temperature is 76F, ocean temperature is 78F, visibility averages 80Ft of water.

Today, the huge school of bonitos kept swimming around the guests, white tip reef sharks, one single manta in cabo Pearce, is odd but hopefully in the next trips mantas come back, in first and second dive they only saw one manta, the dolphins came for the second dive, guests happy as they got to interact with them, in first dive a tiger shark cruised by, one of the groups got to see a huge school of hammerhead sharks, some say there were more than 50 sharks in that school, a green turtle is been spotted in both dives.

A couple of Galapagos showed up in the second dive. Before the first dive, we saw the whale spouts near the boat inside the bay. After a while they came a little closer to say hi; it was a humpback whale and its calf.
