Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2026-02-01

NEX at anchor in Boiler, San Benedicto Island, good weather conditions today, 4-5 kts winds, 3-4 ft waves, Sunny day, air temperature 29C.

Hello everyone, during the trip to San Benedicto, everyone finished assembling their diving equipment, then hung out on the boat, relaxing, sunbathing, and reading. It was calm as the day went on and the swell subsided. They enjoyed the presentation on marine life.

Then we moved to the Boiler for the next dives. At Boiler, there is a slight current, and the visibility is great, about 15 to 20 meters. The mantas were the first stars of the show, then a school of 12-14 hammerheads appeared. But the manta rays were even jumping out of the water.

We have two more dives planned for the afternoon, and after dinner, we will set sail for Roca Partida.
