At anchor in Cabo Pearce 18° 46.62N – 110° 54.69W, anchor resting in 103 Ft of water. Another beautiful day, wind doing 8-10kts NE, 2-3 ft seas from the same direction as the wind.
Current from the North, first dive was good, some hammerhead and one manta appears and some giant lobsters, visibility 15 m on the north side of the finger, light current to the north, guests enjoyed the dive.
Second dive was more exciting than the first one, more hammerheads, a small school of some big yellow fin tunas, one group could saw a tiger shark on the south side of the finger, another group could saw three mantas playing in circles on the safety stop, it was beautiful. Conditions on the second dive were 20 m on the south side of the finger, water temp 25°, strong current to the SE.
Yesterday afternoon, they did two more dives at El Canyon. They saw a large school of hammerhead sharks and more mantas.
Tomorrow’s plan is go dive three times in Punta Tosca and do the navy inspection.
