Good day everyone!
NBA reports from the east side of Roca Partida, with 4.5 shots in the water starboard side anchor, 250 ft depth, .12 NM from the rock. It’s a sunny day, clear sky, light 5-8 NW winds and a very long period and height swell from NW.
We arrived this morning at 06:30 hrs and started our dive operation.
The last 2 dives at Cañon were great, our divers are very happy with the pelagic marine life we have at the islands, lots of sharks in the cleaning station, hammerheads, Galapagos, black and silver tips, silkies, and a couple of mantas were around during both dives.
Today we had a great encounter with more than 4 mantas at once during almost the whole dive, and the guests assured me they can hear the humpbacks underwater. Visibility is above 50 mts, and there is no current, water temp. 24°C.
We will do 2 more dives and then head up to Socorro Island for our dives tomorrow.
The crew is doing well and working hard, and guests are happy.
