Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2026-02-04

At anchor in Punta Tosca 18° 46.64N – 111° 02.95W, anchor resting in 150 ft of water.

And another beautiful day, at sunrise, the island surprised us with a beautiful view and a humpback whale and her calf passing by. Wind doing 5-7kts N, 2-3 ft seas from WNW.

First dive was good, three hammerheads were seen, two mantas appeared, strong current from the North, visibility 20 m, water temp of 25°.

Second dive was good too, they enjoyed the dive, some dolphins appeared on the surface, but a little bit far from the divers and when I was picking up the last group, suddenly the humpback whale and her calf appeared near the skiff.

Yesterday afternoon, they did two more dives and the skiff tour in Cabo Pearce, and they saw more hammerhead sharks, one manta and giant lobsters. Tomorrow’s plan is go dive four times in Roca Partida.

All guest happy
